Program Overview

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has been made possible through Canada-Manitoba Immigration Agreement in June, 1998 which allows the Government of Manitoba to recruit and nominate immigrants to Manitoba. The Provincial Nominee Program for Business allows Manitoba to recruit and nominate qualified business people from around the world who have the intent and ability to move to Manitoba and establish, purchase a business or become partners in an existing business. Qualified applicant will be invited to apply through the Expression of Interest (EOI) process.

Application Requirement

  • Personal new worth of $350,000
  • Minimum 3 years of successful business ownership and management experience or as senior manager of a business
  • Score a minimum of 60 points in EOI system
  • Conduct an Exploratory visit no less than 7 days
  • Nominated applicants will be required to submit a deposit in the amount of $100,000
  • Make investment in the amount of $150,000 (If purchasing existing business, the nominee must control at least 1/3 equity or make minimum $1,000,000 equity investment)
